Autumn is my favorite season. It’s been this way since I can remember. The temperature, the sky, the colors, the clothes, you name it and I love everything about the Fall. Even that song Autumn in New York. I don’t know anymore of the words…just that lilting melody. Some people love April in Paris. For a while I felt guilty about loving Autumn more than Spring. Once a woman told me she loved Spring because of the new life sprouting. I thought, “Does that mean I love death?” Well, NO it doesn’t mean that at all. Ya know why? Cause right after Autumn comes Winter (my least favorite season) then guess what? Spring again. Spring and sprouting and new life is always right around the corner.

So for today I’m taking Zoe, my pup and we’re going for a ride in the country to visit a good friend, maybe a cup of coffee and then back for a cool days work on my sewing machine. And how great is it that I actually live in Autumn in New York? It is very GREAT!
